“‘Midlife : A Beginner’s Guide To Blur’ is the first collection from the band to span every studio album and offers a complete look on Blur’s career - from the post-Seymour beginnings to the magnificent Think Tank, every stop on the journey is here, including the single Popscene which is making its first appearance on a Blur album.”—
From Parklife to Midlife.. a beginner’s guide to Blur, indeed. This looks very comprehensive and interesting.
And at least they’ve come up with a better title than the former Best Of. As a matter of fact, I just realised today how extremely silly it is for musicians to have several releases in the Best Of family. Best Of will usually be followed by a More Best Of or The Very Best Of. Some will then proceed to Best Of 2 or to the slightly more original (but still boring) likes of Essential or Ultimate. Best not take the Greatest Hits discussion today.
