Explosions In the Sky →
Thought I’d take a break from hefty basslines and listen to some incredible post-rock. I usually keep this album in a folder of my mp3 player, although it’s only too rare I actually listen to it. But it is an album I keep going back to, when my mood allows me. It’s stunning… just stunning.

Hopelessly devoted..
Yesterday I finally had enough. Dropped iTunes with a big, fat *plomp*. Downloaded Foobar2000 which is a highly customisable freeware audio player. It rawks. It’s so simple it hurts. Also managed to re-organise my entire music library into new, neat folders. And the plugin for last.fm was quickly fetched via the existing software. Now listening to Benga. ‘Newstep’ reeks...

Went on a spontaneous trip to Copenhagen on Friday. Would mark the start of a hectic weekend but it was well worth it! Simon “Bassline” Smith was playing at Culture Box and being the bassface that I am, it didn’t take much persuasion from Christian for me to say yes.
